Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of ClinicalEdge. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Service Overview
ClinicalEdge provides simulated clinical practice experiences for educational use. The service is intended to help learners practice outpatient case workflows, documentation, and feedback review.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and use the service on your own behalf. By using ClinicalEdge, you represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
Educational Use Only
ClinicalEdge is an educational product. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or patient-care decisions. Users should not rely on the service for real clinical decision-making.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity that occurs using your sign-in credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service in a lawful, professional, and educationally appropriate manner.
Acceptable Use
- Do not upload or enter real patient identifiers or protected health information.
- Do not use the service for live patient care, clinical operations, or real-world treatment decisions.
- Do not misuse, copy, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Do not use the product in a way that violates applicable law, school policy, or professional standards.
Plans, Trials, and Billing
ClinicalEdge may offer preview experiences, free plans, trials, monthly plans, and annual plans. Access limits, case counts, submission allowances, and plan features may vary by tier. If you purchase a paid subscription, billing is processed through our payment provider and the pricing, renewal cadence, and plan details shown at checkout become part of your purchase terms.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel renewal for a future billing period at any time through the payment method, billing portal, or support channel made available to you. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid term.
If a payment fails or your payment method cannot be charged, we may suspend or limit paid features until billing is resolved.
Changes to the Service
We may update, suspend, or modify features, pricing, plan structure, or access limits at any time. We may also discontinue parts of the service or change how certain features operate as the product evolves.
Intellectual Property
ClinicalEdge and its associated content, interface, workflows, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the product or its underlying materials.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or that the service will always be error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will meet your educational, academic, licensing, or professional requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClinicalEdge and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or create risk to the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately, though we may retain limited account, billing, support, or security records as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the service operator is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will be brought in the courts with proper jurisdiction over the service operator, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us first at support@clinicaledge.app and try in good faith to resolve the issue informally.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
